2021 was a meaningful year for us, and the year that we decided to found our Miracle AI Inc. with all our partners.
From Jan to Mar 2021, our close-knit team worked cohesively together to train in video and image Cloud-based AI models, resulting in improving our accuracy from 50% to over 90%. We successfully designed a new AI system (image/video ML detection) integrating with GCP, iOS app, and a startup’s aroma diffuser. In the end, we won 1st Place at the AI Hackathon for our Aroma Island project which was completed in under two months with only 6 people.
Over the next three months, we won 2 Best AI Proposal Awards and received paid AI contracts with Liwei Printing Platemaking Corp. and Yieh United Steel Corp. For Yieh United Steel Corp, we designed a customized AI system structure, using the Aetina module (Nvidia Jetson GPU), Extreme Learning Machines, and AI models, for Yieh United Steel Corp. to enhance their production yield rate for the 50 million tons of steel products that they produce per year, around 10% of global sales.
Due to our success, we continued to work with Liwei Printing Platemaking Corp. until our contract finished in Oct 2021. As a result, we won an AI Highest Ranking Award (1% out of over 300 companies/startups at the AIGO, the most significant AI digitalization competition in Taiwan) by delivering a successful AI hands-on system used for mesh count prediction in the screen printing industry. Furthermore, Miracle AI team has continued our partnership with other 3 Taiwanese companies in a new large program in cooperation with the Taiwanese government which plans to provide over a million USD aid from 2021 to 2025.
In addition, we’re also devoting ourselves to another competition called Data Station from Sep to Nov 2022. We succeeded in winning 2nd Place at the Data Station’s Data Hackathon by proposing a complete AI solution to PChome, Taiwan’s top largest online shopping company. Last but not least, we made a decision to build up our Miracle AI Inc. by the end of 2021, and our company launched in March 2022. We kept it up on our AI journey as we did in 2021. More to share with you all in the following months!
